
The Italian Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, signed two new ordinances on January 29, 2021, which will be in force from February 1, based on the data and indications of the Control Room/Cabina di Regia.
The first one includes the regions Calabria, Emilia Romagna, Lombardy, and Veneto in the yellow area.
The second includes Sicily and the Autonomous Province of Bolzano in the orange area, and Apulia and Umbria in the orange area.
Overall, therefore, the distribution of the regions and Autonomous Provinces in the yellow, orange, and red areas is as follows, as of February 1:
- yellow area: Abruzzo, Calabria, Campania, Basilicata, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Lombardy, Liguria, Marche, Molise, Piedmont, Autonomous Province of Trento, Tuscany, Valle d'Aosta, Veneto
- orange area: Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Apulia, Sardinia, Sicily, Umbria.
- red area: no regions
